Over one hundred years ago in the autumn of 1891, a group of prominent East Hampton summer residents conceived and incorporated the Maidstone Club of East Hampton.

 

The history of the Maidstone Club is filled with color, light and laughter.  It is a story of families who came to a small village for a summer, fell under the spell of the green and golden days and the softness of evenings by the sea, and then returned, year after year, until they become an essential part of the village themselves.

 

Maidstone is a ranking seaside course in America. Primarily a private family club, Maidstone offers tennis, the beach on the Atlantic, and golf.
